In the winter, Yellowstone becomes an enchanting land of frozen waterfalls, steaming geysers and abundant wildlife. Aboard one of Yellowstone Expeditions heated, enclosed, snowcoaches, this land becomes yours to explore.
Around each corner a new surprise may await, a bison or elk, scraping through the snow for winter fodder, an otter tobogganing down the banks of the Yellowstone River, a coyote "mousing" in a snow covered meadow, or perhaps an eagle circling far overhead. This remarkable land awaits your discovery, and there is no better way to experience the wonder of Yellowstone in winter than with Yellowstone Expeditions.
We specialize in smaller groups and private tours, you won't find any 35 passenger buses here. We are a small family owned business that truly loves sharing our love of Yellowstone with small groups.
Yellowstone Expeditions offers day-trip snowcoach tours to both the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and to the Old Faithful Area. We also offer Snowshoer and Skier dropoffs, Private Snowcoach Charters, Old Faithful Snowlodge Shuttle/Dropoffs, and Special Photo Excursions.
Yellowstone Expeditions operates the Yellowstone Yurt Camp near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. The Yurt Camp is the perfect place for skiers, snowshoers, or photographers to spend several days experiencing the solitude of winter in Yellowstone.
